Well, just remember – you’ve got a massage therapist at hand. I can help! Honestly! Thai massage is GREAT for back probs, because in Thailand, the MT *is* the chiropractor. What I don’t know, I have an excellent teacher close at hand that I can ask for help.

I know the intersection of hub’s accident well – I used to work right up in that area and the traffic is crazy. I remember going back like 30 yrs ago when they were building the Venture (now Kohl’s) up there and my cousins, my bro and I would run around in the shell. (My dad’s sister G used to live in the subdivision behind the store.)

I almost wonder if she was related to the Crazy Lady who did a road rage accident w/ the Evil One beginning of June…. she was driving on a suspended license, had no insurance, her car was totaled and her friend’s car she was driving had no insurance on it either. STL County cop clocked her at *70* MPH on 141 in a 50 zone, right before she hit the Evil One.

I’m looking for guinea pigs and if I can work on hubs and help, then hoorah for everyone.

So sorry to hear of all your troubles. And that Scott will always have to deal with this. I had a bulging disc after a fall once, and I remember how painful it was. I counted the hours until my next chiropractic sessions and all I could do was lay on the couch. Luckily, my problems have completely healed after medication and physical therapy…and time. It sounds like Scott won’t be as fortunate.

And you are definitely right about Olive & Tempo, it’s a wide street with tons of traffic…would hate to have to cross it on foot every day.

@netta: Oh dear. I can't imagine making it by scratch anymore! Certain things deserve being made by hand, such as a flaky pastry crust. Some things can be automated.

Fabulous. I passed on a brand-new bread machine at a garage sale, still in the sealed box, for $5. Now I am so sorry. I make bread from scratch by hand all winter long, and I wasn’t sure if it was worth it to get a machine. I’ll be keeping my eyes open for another deal.
